The audition for the next edition of Miss Nepal was held on Wednesday in Birendranagar, the capital of Karnali province. 11 girls have participated in the audition. Organizer 'The Hidden Treasure' has informed that they are going to select contestants from Karnali province as well, with the aim of getting girls from all over Nepal to participate in the competition.
Miss Nepal-2023 Srichcha Pradhan said that an orientation was also organized on Tuesday for those participating in the audition. He says that if he can believe in himself, the title is not far away. "This is a competition to introduce Nepal internationally," she said, "which requires strong confidence and an open heart." She says that Nepali society is gradually understanding the "glamorous" sector. During the
audition, Miss Super National Nepal-2020 Simal Kanoujia shared her experience of participating in the World Supranational Pageant held in Poland. He claims that the audition was held in Surkhet to introduce Karnali. "This platform is also important to make women strong," she said, "If you have the confidence that you have the ability, you will excel in any exam." She says that if the girl can express herself, she can get the next Miss Nepal Karnali.
Regional coordinator and choreographer Keshav Thapa said that if the participants of Miss Nepal can apply what they have learned in the training, they can change the society. "This competition is not only an event that presents talent, exposure and education," he said, "it provides the ability to tackle any adversity." He said that this event also played a role in the cultural diversity and tourism development of Karnali. According to the organizers, interested Nepali girls who meet the criteria can apply through the website and app until May 1st.
Rajbhai Suwal of Hidden Treasure said that Karnali girls are also very attracted to Miss Nepal. Most of the young women have the desire to be socially active by participating in Miss Nepal. It is hoped that their confidence will take the girl selected from here to the finale," he said. According to Suwal, almost 2 dozen people applied for the audition, but only 11 people who met the criteria participated in the audition. "The Hidden Treasure" has been holding regular auditions in Karnali for the past three years. Previously, Pokhara and Nepalgunj auditions have been held, while Birgunj, Birtamod, Itahari, Bhairahawa and Kathmandu are being held.
