In the program, the General Minister of Nepali Congress and Member of the House of Representatives, Gagan Thapa said that there is a shortage of doctors in the hospitals because the government has not increased the posts of doctors. He opined that private hospitals are employing nurses with low wages and that services and facilities for those working in the health sector should be increased.

'There is no doctor in the hospital because there is no doctor available . The government does not give posts. Now, if the government opens vacancies, thousands of doctors will come. 500 apply for 5 vacancies of nurses in government hospitals on government scale. The nurse didn't come there and ? The nurse has not come to private . Where salary is not given, it is in the private sector, where 15,000 salary is being given,' he said. Studying the health workforce is also different from others. It is difficult . It is also expensive. Therefore, the services and facilities of other areas cannot be sustained. These things need to be addressed by law.'

He said that the service facilities of doctors, nurses and other employees working in the health sector should be increased. In the

program, UML secretary and member of the House of Representatives, Yogesh Bhattarai, said that the law should be reformed in time. He said that in the past, laws were made with a feeling and some under pressure, and now those laws cannot work. He emphasized that laws should be made on the basis of research after making research before making laws.

CPN Maoist Center Secretary and House of Representatives member Devendra Paudel said that there should be no compromise on providing quality medical education. He emphasized that the jurisdiction of the university, medical council and medical education commission should be clarified.

National Independent Party MP Dr. Chanda Karki said that the priority of the government, parliament and politicians was not on the issue of health. She said that although there are many laws related to health, there is no improvement in the health sector, even if only two laws are made to work, it will happen.
