The police have arrested two people on the charge of fraud of 41 lakh 20 thousand rupees by saying that they will send them to Canada for foreign employment.

Among those arrested are 39-year-old Satyandra Shrestha, resident of Sunsari Einruwa Municipality-3 and currently residing in Naikap, Kathmandu Chandragiri Municipality-11, and Vivek Kandel, 27-year-old resident of Baglung Kathekhola Rural Municipality-5 and resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality-16 Vanasthali, spokesperson of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office and Superintendent of Police Rabindra. Regmi informed.

According to him, among those arrested, Satyendra had cheated 38 lakh 20 thousand rupees from the victim by saying that he would send it to Canada and Vivek had cheated 3 lakh rupees from three victims saying that he would send it to Malta, so Satyendra was arrested from Anamnagar and Vivek from Bagbazar. Spokesperson Regmi said that those arrested have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for further investigation and action.
