Qatar is ready to create an investment study mechanism in Nepal

In the talks between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and the delegation of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who is on a two-day state visit to Nepal, Qatar is ready to create a mechanism to identify and study investment areas in Nepal.

According to Prime Minister Dahal's Foreign Affairs Adviser Rupak Sapkota, Prime Minister Dahal and Amir Tamim had a very cordial, hearty and intimate meeting and discussion has happened. In the

meeting, Prime Minister Dahal said that Nepal has become an investment-friendly environment and has now asked Qatar to invest in investment areas related to physical infrastructure, electricity, agriculture and education.

Qatar's ability to invest is expanding. Investment areas are also developing and expanding in Nepal. We are holding an investment conference in the near future. It calls for significant participation and investment on behalf of Qatar," Sapkota said, quoting the prime minister's words, "It includes the main physical infrastructure, electricity, agriculture and education sectors."

Amir Tamim has taken the Prime Minister's proposal positively. He said that both countries will create a mechanism to study and discuss the potential of investment in Nepal.

'There has been an agreement to make a mechanism from both sides of Qatar and Nepal. The mechanism will work to study and discuss potential areas, said Sapkota.
