A memorandum of understanding on bilateral investment and cooperation has been signed between Nepal and Qatar. The agreement was reached during the talks held on the second day of the two-day visit of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Nepal. The agreement was signed after the talks between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on behalf of Nepal and Amir Tamim on behalf of Qatar.
Two agreements have also been signed between the Attorney General's office, diplomatic training and study, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Nepal Federation of Industries and Commerce between the two countries.
