Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the goal of the government is a happy Nepali and a prosperous Nepal. At the meeting of the National Development Council in Kathmandu on Thursday, the Prime Minister said that since the ultimate goal of the government is a happy Nepali and a prosperous Nepal, no one should be in two minds about it.

The Prime Minister said that good governance and social justice are essential conditions to achieve the goal of 'Happy Nepali and Prosperous Nepal'. He also said that the current need of the country is to achieve social justice and prosperity through good governance by focusing all efforts on production growth and job creation.

'Here we should not be in two minds, our ultimate goal is a happy Nepali and a prosperous Nepal . There is no reason to disagree with that. However, to reach a happy Nepali and a prosperous Nepal, good governance and social justice are essential conditions, it is only meant to be reached through that process. Our current need is to achieve social justice and prosperity through good governance, focusing all efforts on production growth and job creation. Prosperity with social justice is inherent in socialist characteristics,'' Prime Minister Dahal said, 'There is no reason to have disagreements between political parties. We made an agreement on the constitution yesterday, because of that agreement, our historical foundation has been prepared . As the prosperity achieved in this way will be sustainable, inclusive and tangible, the 16th plan is trying to give special emphasis in this direction.'

Prime Minister Dahal said that without giving high priority to agriculture in relation to Nepal, increasing agricultural production and establishing agriculture-based industries that create agricultural jobs will not produce any results.

Prime Minister Dahal mentioned that Nepal is not only a country with potential for investment but also a reliable destination. He also said that there is great potential for job creation in agriculture, energy, tourism and information technology. He said that the prosperity of the country is possible in a short period of time if the available natural resources and resources can be efficiently and effectively mobilized by using the skills, strengths and abilities of the young people towards development.

Prime Minister Dahal said that in the 16th plan, special emphasis has been placed on the construction of integrated infrastructure and the expansion and use of information technology. He mentioned that the plan has adopted cooperative, community and non-governmental sector and development partners in supporting roles by assimilating the private sector as a facilitator of economic prosperity.
