When I go out of the house on business, to the grocery store, to the tea-dunot shop and to the housekeeper's temple, I see young college students (tanneri) smoking cigars, khaini, parag with great joy. Even some young people go to college or when they come home, I find them walking along the road smoking cigarettes.
Fear of being scolded by parents if you smoke while sitting at home, fear of being scolded by teachers if you smoke while going to college. That's why the youth may have taken this route because no one they know will see them smoking cigarettes on the streets and alleys. And I wonder why young people are getting addicted to smoking after kicking such a noisy and precious life of reading and writing?
The fact that smoking is harmful to health is a serious issue that young people should understand. At home and in college, parents should remind the youth that they should not smoke, it affects their health, spoils their lungs, and can gradually cause lung cancer. But it was not seen in practice. Even though the eyes of the parents are closed, the youth is seen taking a sip of the cigarette.
That's why I think it is necessary to give a suggestion to the youth that we should not indulge in smoking, let us not let our precious lives go up in smoke. If you smoke now, you will have to regret it later if your health is seriously affected, and you have to spend a lot of money for health care.
