After reading the news published in Kantipur on 7th Baisakh entitled 'Scout's land occupied by MP Khadka for 15 years under the control of the administration', I felt compelled to comment. There is news that Congress MP Deepak Khadka of Sankhuwa Sabha has been occupying the land and building of Nepal Scout in Lainchour for 15 years and the District Administration Office, Kathmandu has sealed it and seized it.

Shree Khadka Land Development Pvt Ltd, of which he is the director, took Scout's land and leased it to other commercial organizations for commercial purposes. Although the contract was completed 5 years ago, i.e. in 2075, after the land was not returned to Scout, a complaint was filed in the district court of Kathmandu, but the district court ruled in favor of the company. Scout was then forced to appeal to the High Court.

In a complaint filed in Patan High Court, it was ordered that the land should be returned, but the land was not returned. After the news was published in Kantipur Daily, District Administration Office and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward no. It was seen that the team including the chairman of 26 took control of that land. MP Khadka continued to occupy the land even as the Scouts demanded to give it back. MP Khadka has to pay the rent of that land to Scout more than 63 million.

Taluk Youth and Sports Minister, instead of vacating the land immediately, made an investigation committee to avoid it. But now the minister is trying to vacate the occupied land. Can the land of an entity be occupied for a long time without even paying the rent by renting it under the guise of power and strength? A responsible political party, a law maker like a parliamentarian, who openly commits illegal acts, lose the morals of a parliamentarian? Do MPs not understand the law?
