The Nepali Congress and LOSPA have boycotted the Madhesh Provincial Assembly meeting after Mahesh Yadav, the leader of the parliamentary party of the Janmat Party, was expelled from the Madhesh Provincial Assembly meeting by Speaker Ram Chandra Mandal.
After Congress parliamentary party leader Krishna Prasad Yadav boycotted the meeting, Democratic Samajwadi Party state MP Upendra Mahato said that since there is no opposition in the parliament, they will also boycott the meeting.
Controversy has arisen in the Madhesh Pradesh Assembly after Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav submitted a proposal for a vote of confidence by changing the route to the rostrum. The parliamentarians vandalized the speaker's microphone and lights.
