The Democratic Samajwadi Party (LOSP) has withdrawn its support to the government by recalling its ministers in the Madhesh province government. On Tuesday, LOSPA withdrew its support to the Madhesh state government on the same day that Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav was taking the vote of confidence for the fourth time.

LOSPA left the Madhesh government, did not give a vote of confidence to Chief Minister Yadav

LOSPA has already recalled Forest and Environment Minister Ramesh Kurmi Patel, who is in Madhesh state government. Upendra Mahato, state MP of LOSPA, informed that he has already resigned.

"We have withdrawn the support given to Chief Minister Yadav by recalling the minister," LOSPA MP Mahato said to Kantipur, "Now we will not give a vote of confidence to the Chief Minister." There are 9 LOSPA MPs in the Madhesh state assembly.

The provincial assembly meeting held at around 2 o'clock on Tuesday to take the vote of confidence has not yet been held due to public opinion and the obstruction of the Congress party.

The majority number is 54 to form the government in the 107-member Madhesh province. Chief Minister Yadav had 69 MPs including 25 MPs from UML, 19 MPs from Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), 9 MPs from Maoists (Centre), 9 MPs from LOSPA and 7 MPs from CPN(S).

Out of the 25 UML MPs, excluding the Speaker, the Chief Minister now has 68 MPs. Which is much more than the majority. However, even though 9 MPs of LOSPA did not give a vote of confidence, 59 MPs seem to be with Chief Minister Yadav.
