After receiving the victim's complaint, the District Police Dhanusha has written a letter to the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers on 7th Baisakh asking them not to disclose the details of Deputy Secretary Sah working there.

The police has written to the Chief Minister's office to provide a copy of the citizenship and other documents that reveal the three details of the defendant including the position in which Shah is currently working, how long he stayed at the residence of the ministry, whether or not the defendant Shah was working in the office on the day of the incident on January 18. Dhanusha Police Chief SP Bhuvneshwar Tiwari said that an arrest warrant has been issued against Deputy Secretary Sah and he is being searched for.
