Dil Bahadur Budhathoki, a local and community forest member of Tirthpole, said that it was not completed.

He informed that since it was difficult to put out the fire in the forest, they are trying to prevent them from entering the settlement. According to him, the community forest with an area of ​​138 hectares has been destroyed by the fire. The danger of fire has also increased in the nearby community forests.

Mira Rawat, who is a member of the community forest, said that although there has been a fire in the forest for three days, they have been extinguishing the fire only by going to a place where there is no wind. He informed that after a long effort, 60/70 Nepali army, police, armed and local people were deployed to protect the Tirthpo settlement.

'The wind is blowing. Flames spread far and wide. There is a danger that people will be burnt by the flames. It doesn't seem possible to put out a fire full of green apples. That's why now we are trying to save people's lives and homes rather than forests,' she said.

Jitendra Mahat, Chief of Division Forest Office Salyan, said that Nepali Army, Police, Armed Forces, and local community forest officials are trying to put out the fire in Tirthpo community forest. He informed that there is a fire in various community forests of the district and even though the fire is being extinguished, there is a problem in controlling it as it starts one after the other.
