Lucknow Super Giants defeated Chennai Super Kings by six wickets in IPL-2024 on Tuesday with the help of 124 runs scored by Australia's Marcus Stoinis. Lucknow reached victory with three balls to spare.
This is Stoins' first century in the IPL and before his performance, Chennai's Rituraj Gaikwad's performance of 108 runs has been overshadowed. Batting first, Chennai scored 210 runs for four wickets.
In reply, Lucknow lost four wickets and scored 213 runs in 19.3 overs. Lucknow has risen to the fourth position in points, while Chennai is right behind it with eight points.
