The rain that fell in the spring provided coolness to the body. The mind is burning. It started raining. Now there is a problem of whose land can be plowed. We are farmers who work on the land. A farmer who irrigates the field with sweat. A farmer who does not have his own land but rents the land of the land owner to grow grain even if it is for living.
When the government subsidizes fertilizers and seeds, how much land will be cultivated? He says he will come with a photocopy of the parts. But we don't have land. Whose parts should we carry? We are real farmers who produce grain. But the state gives subsidy only to those who own land. We are distant in the eyes of the state.
Our profession is agriculture. Skill is also in agriculture. But we don't have land. We cultivate bataia by paying those who are forced to own land but do not cultivate it. We are hit with a double whammy, Govt. We were also cheated by the state. We were also cheated by keeping the land barren.
In the village, we take loans at high interest rates. If the grain perishes due to hail, drought and animals, we cannot even pay the interest on the loan. How do we live with the government now? When will we have our own land? So that we can eat our fill. Now we need land, not assurance.
