In the Madhesh state assembly, there has been a heated argument between the public opinion and the MPs of UML. After state MP Chandan Singh blocked the state assembly demanding that the government should respond to the attack on ministers and MPs of the Janmaat Party, there was a stir in the state assembly after UML's state MP Dipendra Thakur held that parliament should not be blocked due to personal disputes.
Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav took the vote of confidence for the fourth time in the state assembly meeting which started at 2 o'clock on Tuesday. Janmat Party spokesperson and state MP Chandan Singh said that the chief minister will not allow the meeting to proceed until the government responds to the attack.
After Janmaat MPs took a stand not to allow the state assembly to run, UML state MP Thakur said that even though he was personally saddened by the beating incident on the minister, he could not block the parliament.
After MP Thakur took the stand that Parliament should not be blocked on the basis of personal incidents, MPs of Janmaat and Congress raised slogans against the government in the state assembly. Speaker Ramchandra Mandal adjourned the meeting of the state assembly for 10 minutes after the heated argument between the MPs of UML and Janmat, but it has not yet started.
