Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Jokh Bahadur Mahara has expanded the government. Bhumishwar Dhakal from Rupandehi, Dinesh Panthi from Gulmi, Arjun Kumar KC from Kapilvastu and Ratna Bahadur Khatri from Banke have been appointed as non-departmental ministers from UML.
Similarly, Dharma Bahadur Chaudhary from Civil Liberation Party and Khadak Basnet, an independent MP from Nawalparasi, have also been appointed as ministers. .
Lumbini has 10 ministries including the Chief Minister. Earlier, non-departmental minister Chetnarayan Acharya of UML has been given the responsibility of Finance, Dipendra Pun of Maoist and Health and Bhandarilal Ahir of Jaspa has been given the responsibility of Agriculture and Land Management.
