Nepal Police Club became the champion of the 14th Jagdamba Jitpursimra Gold Cup football competition on Monday. Police managed to create history by defeating A Division rivals Machindra Club 4-3 in a penalty shootout at the Simra Stadium.

Eight years later, Police managed to win the Jeetpursimra Gold Cup title for the second time. 10 lakh rupees and a trophy won with the first success of New Year 2081.

The match between the two teams was competitive in floodlights. Both teams entered the field with preparation in the stake of making history. However, both teams failed to score in the regular time and extra time matches. In the

tribreaker, Ramchandra Waje, Pujan Rai, Sujan Magar and Ashish Rai scored against Machchindra on behalf of the police. game. He stopped 2 goals of Machindra. Police's Sanjeev Shrestha was the best player of the match. Machindra's Bimal Gharti Magar became the player of the tournament. He received the scooter award.

There was a lot of competition between the two competing teams in the flood light. In the stake of making history for the title, both teams entered the field with their own preparation and claimed the title, but the police managed to win the title.

Machindra, who came to Simra Maidan after winning the Virat Gold Cup last week, was aiming to win the fourth title of the tournament to be held in Mofasal. Machindra won the Wagmati Gold Cup and KP Oli Cup of Makwanpur along with Virat.
